The PEP project promotes refresher English training for Filipino professional workers, students soon to enter the labor force, and teachers using a blended approach of classroom teaching and computer-aided instruction.

Through partnerships with schools, private companies and the business sector, government units and donor organizations both international and local, Computerized English Language Centers (CELCs) are being established throughout the country. These are equipped with an internationally-acclaimed instructional software, such as DynEd, an award-winning multimedia learning solution.

You can help the PEP project improve the English skills of Filipinos by:

  1. Sponsoring a CELC in a Public or Private School
A minimum set-up consists of 15 computers with headsets and microphones in a networked lab. DynEd issues the required licenses and provides teacher training and assistance in curriculum development.
    • DynEd can be incorporated into existing English courses.
    • DynEd can be used as a special elective for graduating students.
    • DynEd can be used for faculty training and development.
  2. Conducting Corporate Training

    • Install a CELC in your office. With a minimum of 20 computers, DynEd courseware can be installed in your office and used in your corporate training programs.
    • Send your employees to train at a nearby CELC. Inquire about this with the PEP Secretariat.
